Run by a charitable organisation and built for the benefit of the village of Hullbridge and the surrounding areas, the Hullbridge Community Centre is situated in the quiet village of Hullbridge. The building opened in July 1979 and is managed by the Hullbridge Community Association, a charity formed in 1966 out of the new Hullbridge Social Society.
The centre was funded by the sale of the village hall, grants from Essex county Council and the Hullbridge Parish Council. The land was provided by Rochford District Council. The remainder of funds were made up of individual donations and the “buy a brick campaign” run in the Village in the early seventies. Since opening, this building has been the meeting place for many local organisations.
With ample car parking the Hullbridge Community Centre is one of the areas best venues for sports and social gatherings.
Information about all the excellent facilities that the Hullbridge Community Centre offers can be found on this website.
